If you are into longboards, getting a sponsorship is definitely one of your dreams. It is a sport or leisure at first. But once longboarding starts to immerse you, then hoping for a chance of getting into the spotlight enhances your grit and passion. This is the reason why many are asking how to get sponsored by Original Skateboards.
Well, there are other brands of skateboards that you can opt for a sponsorship. Such of these are Gold Coast, DB, Z-Flex, Mercer, Dusters, San Clemente, Vans, and Flip. All of these brands produce quality and aesthetically pleasing longboards. However, the Original Skateboards is quite famous when it comes to sponsorship. Many longboarders actually love their products.
I know some longboarders who were able to get a sponsorship from Original Skateboards. But acquiring one is not quite easy. But if you have a passion for the sport, then there is a good chance that you can get you there eventually.
The very first step of getting a sponsorship by Original Skateboards is shooting an email to them. I actually talked with one of their customer service operators to know exactly the things that you should include in the email.
By the way, the name of the person is Max V. I know it is quite dubious if I will not introduce the guy. However, you may meet a different customer service assistant from time to time. You should expect this since Original Skateboards have a lot of clients. One or two person is not enough. You can go and check the website of Original Skateboard by following this link.
The official email address of Original Skateboards (for sponsorship purposes) is [email protected]. In the email, you should include your name, location, and some of your videos and other related materials that would indicate that you are really a passionate skateboarder.
Yes, that is right. One of the formal requirements of sponsorship is actually being into the sport of longboarding. Do not expect that you can get a sponsorship if your intention is just to get popular or have a career in modelling.
One of the main purposes why Original Skateboards run a sponsorship program is to discover new talents. They want talented individuals who can carry their brands for different events and occasions. Of course, it is quite a “PR” stunt, but still, the intent is still genuine. They give you an opportunity to take your longboarding skills to a new level. In exchange, you have to show that riding into a longboard made by Original Skateboards somehow enhances your ability.
For me, it is a good trade already. After all, getting paid for doing your passion is a rare opportunity these days!
Moreover, Max V gave me some few tips on how to increase your chance of getting a sponsorship. Hint: You don’t need to be handsome or beautiful.
Just be honest with them. Tell the reasons why you want a sponsorship from them. Tell why you deserve a short. Who knows? Maybe the next email notification that will pop to your inbox would be their approval!
Aside from the question of “how to get sponsored by Original Skateboards,” the next beefy question that steams off in the mind of longboarders is its benefits. After all, nobody would die over a sponsorship if it does not give you some advantages, right?
Max V told me that Original Skateboards gives off stipends on the situational basis–maybe if you will participate training or competitions. However, the main perk of their sponsorship is the gears. Aside from receiving free longboards, you can get other longboarding accessories that you need. Such of these are helmets, slide gloves, bushings, riser pads, and elbow and knee pads. Moreover, they can also give free maintenance if something is wrong to your best longboard for the money. Maybe they will give free cool shirts too!
Aside from these given benefits, here are some of the advantages of being sponsored by Original Skateboard:
Let me assume that you are really the passionate one–that you are willing to make longboarding your career. Of course, that is a great commitment! You already found the thing that makes you feel alive. However, life is really not that bright and beautiful. If you are still a student, doing too much longboarding can shed off your time to study or do projects. Are you bound to being a cashless drop-out already? What about the competitions that you want to join? Do you think that they don’t have registrations and other fees that they will take in your pocket?
Passion means that you will do anything to exercise a particular habit or action. On longboarding, it means going full-time. However, if you go full-time, you will have no time to work or find ways to sustain your hobby. Let us admit it. Longboarding is not actually the treasure trove you are hunting. You can earn from it once you become a professional and win events.
While you are still starting, a sponsorship comes very handy. It aids you when it comes to expenses, gears, and equipment. Treat is a parent-to-child relationship. The Original Skateboards will act as your family.
Sponsorship is not just about getting free gears or money. Sometimes, it will give you the opportunity to see the world in a new horizon. Original Skateboards has a lot of international connections. If they have a national event or competition, then there is a good chance that they will send you there to join. If that happens, you just did not travel. You also grasped the chance to meet new longboarders and expand your world! In longboarding, connection really matters!
Moreover, the best part of this is that you don’t have to spend anything. Not even a single penny! You know how expensive travelling can get, especially if it cross countries or abroad. Aside from the plane, you have to mind for your food, shelter, and other amenities you need to survive while you are on foreign grounds. Good thing, Original Skateboards can handle all of this–just for you!
If you are a believer of Original Skateboards, then representing their company is more than what you can ask. Just imagine that once you can get the sponsorship, you will become one of their faces. For some, that is already an honor to their part. Being part of the brand that you believe is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Some longboarders want the sponsorship from Original Skateboards because of this reason.
If I were you, you should make this as your motivation, too. I mean, wouldn’t the staff from Original Skateboards see you materialistic if you are just aiming for the fame and money? The best sales talk that you can give to them is your love for their products and brand. This is the best way to appeal to the company!
Getting a sponsorship from Original Skateboards is already one-step to stardom. You may really get the chance to be famous, yet it can still make you professional skater. The opportunity may not last–let me remind you of this. So if you can successfully get a sponsorship from them, just make the most out of it. Learn, play, and continue to display your enthusiasm to the sport. In the long run, you will realize that the experience you got is really life-changing!
Lastly, its give you the chance to do one of the most coolest sports in the world: longboarding! So what are you waiting for?Go shred off!
Nowadays, longboarding is getting attractive more and more younger people. However, some people still make a mistake when assuming longboarding is just skateboarding. The longboard is fairly similar to skateboard but it is longer in the length than skateboard. What is longboard? How to choose the best longboard brands for beginners? And some basic techniques of longboarding for new beginners.
Longboarding, which was called “Side walk surfing” in 1950’s, was a combination of surfing and skateboarding.
After that, it was developed by surfers and skateboarders because they want to experience the feeling of surfing on the hard surface, in other words, it was done as an alternative for surfing.
Longboard looks like you use a long skateboard but it is easier and faster than skateboard because of the wheel’s size. There are many different shapes, lengths or widths of longboard.
Longboarding has many categories such as cruising, downhill, dancing, free-ride and carving. If you want to get around the campus, town or hang out with friends, longboarding will be the excellent modes of transportation.
Choosing the best longboard brands is not the easy job to do. The following guide includes some useful information for the new longboarders need to know to make the best choice.
First of all, you should know the parts of the longboard and effect of these parts when you ride. The main parts of longboard include the deck, the wheels, the trucks, the bearings and the bushings. The deck is the flat board that you stand on and it can be made from bamboo, maple or fiber glass. The next important part is the trucks that is made from metal and has a T-shaped in order to connect the wheels to the deck. And the third crucial component of longboard is the wheels that are specific to the riding styles.
Next, you should make the decision the type of longboard you need based on your riding style. However, the longboard is good for cruising and carving is the suitable choice for the new beginners.
Finally, you should pick the longboard that fits your longboarding style. Longboarding has the various shapes, techniques and categories so that every longboarder need to define their own styles to pick the suitable longboard for them.
If you are the new beginners who is getting into longboarding, we will guide you some basic techniques to longboard.
Air braking: occurs when you stand upright on your board with arms out to increase wind resistance and lower your overall speed. This is one of the most important and effective techniques to reduce speed.
Foot braking: occurs when one foot is placed on the road or on the sidewalk while the opposite foot keep balance on the longboard to increase friction and decrease your speed. Longboarders use this technique to slow down or come to a termination.
Slide braking: is mostly used when longboarders go downhill. The longboarder will handle his speed by turning the board sideways into the controlled slide, but it needs a wider area to control the slide. In some cases, longboarder will wear gloves and put his hands on the ground to perform this action.
Carving: is the popular way to slow down or control speed. It helps the longboarders to slow his speed by leaning left and right.
Now that I have shown you the definition about longboard, some way to pick suitable longboard and some basic techniques. You are ready to pick the suitable longboard for you and start riding it wherever you want or just to enjoy yourself with some friends. Let’s get a longboard!
Beside that, at my blog, we also have many articles to share you all things need to know about longboarding, and the next topic is a Best Longboard for Girl.
You may be a beginner with longboards or you may already be a popular pro who can pull off numerous tricks with a swing of his feet. Whatever status you have in the universe of longboarding, there is one thing you can’t deny. Longboarding is not as safe as it should be.
Most people who practice with a longboard or even skateboard for that matter do it on the roads. Roads are full of so many cars and vehicles. There are pedestrians and potholes. There are too many hazards and as a result, there are a considerable number of fatal accidents.
In the United States itself, the infrastructure for all major sports is great. However, Longboard and Skateboard, which are the third most popular sport amongst teenagers, have limited dedicated arenas. The charm is there, but not the facility.
If there were as many skate parks that cater to the budding long boarder, then the injuries would be reduced and it would be a much safer sport to follow.
If not the roads, then kids usually pick parking structures in the after-hours and cause hysteria for the guards on duty. Sometimes they get caught and busted and sometimes they escape. Nevertheless, it is not the ideal situation. It is a problem that has a simple solution: dedicated skate parks.
There are not many dedicated parks for skateboarding and longboarding, but it is not like there are none. You should try and locate a skate park. Chances are, you will find one if you look sincerely for it. Once you have found it, take your gang skating there and you will never miss the parking that you trespassed into.
Leaked oil and dangerous poles and pillars will not be present. However, the structure would give you all the thrill that you seek.
Take your longboarding to places that are made for longboarding. Stay away from the vehicles and the danger they bring with them. Skate parks are the answer to many longboarding problems.
So you have got a new longboard as a birthday present and want to be a pro as soon as possible. You definitely want to show off everything you saw in that amazing YouTube video. But none of that is ever going to happen if you do not know how to start and stop on your longboard. So just read and practice and you will be ready in virtually no time.
Before we go anywhere, make sure you have these in store for your first session:
Start in an open and big, flat place. Also try and make sure that it is not a busy road with regular vehicles plying around. You do not want to knock a car off the road, do you?
Alright, you got a hang of how to push with your feet and go from point A to point B on your best longboard. What if you want to turn on your board to get more from your ride? This is where you should know how to turn your longboard.
Keep your speed low while learning how to turn so that you are not a mess while you learn to maneuver your longboard. There should be enough room around you so that you don’t turn yourself into a wall.
It is important to lean and squat a bit to gain some balance before you turn.
Alright, you can go from point A to B via points X, Y, and Z. However, you still need to know how to stop when you have reached the final point. There are a number of ways to stop. Some are simple, some become simple with practice. You should know that this is perhaps the most difficult of the three.
Start learning in a safe place where you will get medical attention if you need it. Chances are you won’t need it if you have the safety gear and the sense to be safe. Good Luck!
There are a lot of people who advocate the case for making a longboard right in your own garage. You know, by assembling all the components together after diligently purchasing them separately. They have a point and you might already be convinced about it.
However, we will make it easier for you to decide by telling you the pros and cons of making a longboard all by yourself. Also, we will put forward the case of completely built longboards as well.
Apart from all the reasons listed above, we want to make sure that you don’t waste your time on making something that is already available in the market.
Now you know the pros and cons of making a longboard by yourself. Unless you plan to start a company, which would be cool, you know what we suggest. We are strongly on the band that supports completely built longboards and you already know why.
Just have a look at some of the best longboards we have reviewed and choose the one that suits your needs.
Long boards are associated with the wheels on which they roll on when you ride. Obviously, wheels are there for good reason and they must be soft to roll faster while riding the board.
Also, the riding experience must be smooth and seamless offering better grip on the board and this is all because of good quality wheels. Soft wheels give more control over the board and in this guide; you will get to know the types of wheels that are to be considered.
The shape, size, urethane properties, durometer and the core placement plays a major role to find the best type of long board wheels. Let’s start with study these factors in detail:
The very first thing that comes in mind while choosing the best longboards wheels is the size that you want. Almost all the wheels are around 64-80mm in diameter where 70mm is common. The basic thing behind the larger wheels is that they accelerate slower as compared to smaller ones.
But they have higher top speeds with easy roll over on cracks and garbage etc. On the other hand, smaller wheels do fit on more long boards but they have slower top speed.
You have to check whether the wheels cause wheelbite and they fit perfectly. Reverse kingpin trucks offer more wheel clearance so go for these. Having cut outs on the board is good as any wheel size fits on such boards. And if there are no cut outs, you have to add a ¼ inch riser pad so that the wheels can accommodate wheels larger than 70mm.
It is the outer part of the wheel that means the edges of the contact patch. Shape of the lips tells you much more about the way a board rides. The wheels offer more grip if the lips are thick or sharp whereas if the lips are rounded, they break down easily offering smoother transitions from grip to slip.
For free riding, rounded lips are fine and for downhill riding, sharper wheels are preferred.
But if your purpose is to use your board for transport purpose, then lip style is not that important. In fact, if you are not going to slide the wheels, lipped wheels are perfect especially when you have to carve deeper. Also, lipped wheels don’t make you lose traction at all.
Durometer rating is associated with the hardness of the wheels. Having a durometer of 75-88aa means that the long boards are very soft as compared to those wheels that have a rating of 90-101a. Basically, lower durometer wheels are grippier and also roll slower whereas higher durometer wheels offer lesser grip and also roll faster.
Hard wheels slide faster than typical wheels and also have a tendency to slow you down less thus making you glide across the road surface easily. Soft wheels slide slow and also slow down faster and these wheels are often referred to as buttery wheels that are quite easy to control.
For all types of long boarding, 78a and 80a are the most common types of durometers. It is because they have a nice blend of perfect grip, slide ability and rolling speed.
No doubt, durometer makes it very easy for you to narrow down your choice regarding wheels, but let me tell you that not all 78a wheels perform equal. Urethane formula of the wheels explains the performance of the wheels on which the longboard rides.
Grip, slide ability and durability are all different in every urethane formula and it is you who have to decide which one to pick. The perfect way to know about urethane formula is by trying various formulas to know the preferences. Get a feel by trying various urethane formulas.
Many companies have mentioned different formulas for freeride and downhill. Basically, it is seen that freeride formulas are much easier to slide and faster too. Also, they offer less grip and durability as compared to downhill formula.
Shape, size and composition etc. are all the factors that decide the performance of the long board wheels. If you add large diameter to the wheel, it will roll faster and it is a major benefit for downhill, transportation and freeride. It is because wider composition of the core supports the urethane that further makes the wheels more durable.
Also, it supports even wear out of the wheels. If the core is made of hard material then it will enhance the rolling speed of the longboard wheel thus making it slide faster. For downhill racing, easy and quick slow down is quite easy and this is the reason why the companies pay special attention to manufacturing the wheels with perfect size and core.
If you ask me, I would like to tell you that RAD wheels are greatly designed keeping all the factors in mind. Such wheels have durable grip, faster rolling speed, slow and even wear out. So make sure to focus on the core size and shape.
Core placement of the wheels are divided into three categories and I would be explaining the main category i.e. centerset. Other two categories are: offset and sideset. Each category has its own performance and sliding attributes.
Centerset category is that in which the core is placed directly in the wheel’s center. This style has the most perfect grip than other two. Grip is perfect because a large inner lip is created while riding and also the wheels offer longer life as they can be flipped inside out.
These wheels have even wear out and this is the major reason why freeriders prefer centerset placement of the wheels. Also, the centerset core performs great when paired with round lips and small contact patches.
I hope you guys understand well that which factors are important to look in the long board wheels while buying one. So whenever you plan to buy a longboard, consider these factors to make a smart purchase.
Long boarding is an art and technique that not everyone knows. To excel in long boarding, you must know the tips and tricks so that you can slide easily with full control over the board. Once when you will learn these basics, you will get to know how to slide. Sliding on a long board involves pulling the board out and let the wheels move freely so as not to grip the pavement.
While sliding on the long board, you must wear special gloves having plates which will act as brakes. Number of ways is there to slide on a long board but the most basic method is bending down and keeping your hands on the ground in front direction when the board slides out. It is the common method of stopping while sliding and even the expert boarders follow this technique.
In longboarding, there is a common sliding i.e. Coleman sliding. It is one of the most essential basics to try once in your boarding career. Pro boarders try this sliding technique due to it being the most commonly used methods to brake on a board.
In Coleman slide, you have to foot break, jump off and ride out the board. In fact, while learning the sliding technique, you will get to know that these options are not much efficient while riding at higher speeds. So here sliding plays a major role when you need a safer and stylish boarding. However, Coleman is the safest options when you want to learn longboarding, sliding or braking. The technique was invented by Cliff Coleman in 1970s that is 180 degree heelside slides which helps and allows the boarders to ride the board safely even in higher speeds and inclines.
You may be a beginner in sliding that is why you are here to learn how to slide on a longboard. So let me tell you that longboarding is definitely not an easy chore as you have to be very relaxed and patient while learning it. In start, you may get injuries while riding or stopping the board but that is not the end guys. Just keep learning and one day you will be an expert boarder. Today, I am jotting down the steps to slide on a longboard, so don’t waste time and read them below:
Hope you will learn the tips of how to slide on a longboard. Here are some tips to follow:
Happy long boarding!!
When talking about skateboard sizes, there are two possible meanings.
For some people, they will think of the length of the skateboard when being asked about the size, while other people will be talking about the width.
Here at our website, we have a lot of articles concerning length and the difference between the best longboards and a regular skateboard, so in this article when we speak of size, it will be the width that we are covering.
Read on to learn about the different widths offered and then figuring out which width is right for you.
Skateboards can be broke down into four different main sizes.
You have micro decks, mini decks, mid-sized deck, and full-size deck.
Each of these has some variation in specks, but we will cover the most common details of each one.
One of the best things about the sport of skateboarding though is how customizable the skateboard is to you, so once you become an experienced rider, you can get a board that meets your exact specifications.
Micro deck skateboards are called this because they are small. Even though they are small though, they are not as small as a penny board. Micro decks are still in the normal skateboard family. A typical micro deck is 27.2 inches to 27.6 inches long. For the width, it normally runs from 6.5 inches to 6.75 inches. Continue reading to find out who this board size is best for.
A mini deck is a little bigger than a micro board, but not much. The length is normally around 28′ while the width is normally seven inches. This small size difference may not seem like much, but it does make a difference.
Mid-size decks are starting to get more into what you might see on a regular basis at a skate park. The length of these boards normally is 29 inches, and the width is 7.3 inches.
Last we have what is considered full-size decks. These have a bit more range than the others because the most people buy this kind of boards.
The length of these kinds of boards normally doesn’t vary much and falls around the 29-inch area, but the width can differ greatly.
The standard full-size board has a width of 7.5 inches to 8 inches. A more trick type board has a width of 8inches to 8,25inches, and a cruising board has a width greater than 8.25 inches.
Well, there are a couple of factors when determining what size skate deck to get.
The first factor is your height and more importantly your foot size.
The second factor is what kind of riding you will be doing.
First, we will look at foot size though. If you are younger and have a foot size of 3 or smaller, then you will want a micro board most likely. Normally people that fall into this range are kids who are just learning how to ride. The typical age is 5 or younger for micro boards and 3.5 inches tall or shorter. If your feet size doesn’t match your height though, then most of the time it is better to go by foot size than height when choosing a board.
Mini boards are for riders who have slightly bigger feet than a micro board. If your foot is size four to six, then you will probably want a mini board. This normally means kids who are around six to tween years. The typical height of a mini board rider is someone who is between 3.5 inches and 4.4 inches tall.
Once you get to a mid-size board, you are getting into a little older of person. Most mid-size board riders are in their teenage years, but not adults yet. Some adults though do ride the smaller boards though. Most of the time a mid-size board works best for someone who is 4.5 inches tall to 5.2 inches tall and someone that wears size seven or eight shoes. This means that women riders may fall into this range even as an adult.
Last we have the full-size boards which have more variety in what size to get. Most riders of full-size boards are adults, and that means that they can make their own decisions better on what type of board is most comfortable for them. Typically though, a standard full-size board rides by someone who is 5.3 inches or taller and a shoe size of nine or greater. Depending on how much bigger your foot is though, you might want to get one of the wider full-size boards for the most comfort.
The other factor besides height and shoe size that determines what size board to get is the riding you will be doing.
If you are going to be doing normal street riding with some tricks, then you might not need as much foot room as someone who is going to be doing a lot of cruising.
When cruising, you will be standing on your board for longer periods and need to be able to be comfortable.
If you are going to be doing a lot of tricks or riding ramps and things, then you might also need more foot room to be able to move your feet to kick off the board or have more landing room when coming back down from your tricks.
This is why your riding style also affects the board size you need, and it isn’t just based on your shoe size.
Lastly, some people stand in different ways on their board to be comfortable. If you stand with your feet perfectly even with each other, then you won’t need a board that as wide as someone who stands with their feet, not in line with each other. Some people like having one foot closer to the edge than the other, and not have both in the middle of the board. Once you have been riding for awhile, you will learn the stance you like, and that will help you better figure out the size of deck you need.
So to finish things up board size or width depends on a few factors. The main one is your shoe size, and this is especially true for younger riders because they don’t know their style yet. As you get older though the board width depends more on the riding you will be doing and your stance. Your shoe size and height still matters some, but it isn’t the main focus when you get into a full-size board. Remember when picking out a skateboard that the most important thing when it comes to the width of the board is comfortable. If it is comfortable for you to stand on and ride, then you have most likely found the right width for you and your riding style.
Building your own longboard is a fun process as you get to learn so much. All you need is woodworking tools, wood cutting ability and motivation to nail the task well. So let’s start:
Use 2-3 ¼ inch thick plywood sheets to build the deck. To make the whole longboard, these pieces need to be joined with glue or screws. If not to build the deck, you can buy pre-pressed deck. Number of plywood sheets depends upon the flex of the board you want. Some woods like white ash, bamboo, maple and birch are there offering quality where bamboo is the strongest among all. So you can choose any. For longer board, you need 10 inches by 40 inches woodpiece and before getting to build a board, take an idea of the shape of the board you would like to ride.
Go for wood glue, resin or epoxy. Every hardware store has these adhesives that are meant to join the wood pieces tightly and keep the board layers together.
These are the metal bits which are used to attach the wheels to the board. And these are important to keep the board turning when you lean. Most popular trucks are reverse kingpin trucks offering better stability and response.
The harder the wheel, the more sliding ability it has whereas the softer wheels offer tight turns.
Bearings are meant to fit inside the wheels to let them turn smoothly. Usually, people are seen buying ceramic bearings but they are quite expensive as well. Quality does matters!! If ceramic bearings are not in your budget, buy steel bearings.
Cut the wood into strips according to the size mentioned above i.e. 10 inch by 40 inch. Shaping is not a concern here as you just need to cut the pieces for now. Keep the longer strips for longer board and vice versa. Shaping will be done once when the pieces will be attached together into a solid deck.
Draw a straight line on a paper that will be the centre of the board and then draw the shape of the board you would like to have. For your knowledge, shorter boards are more flexible and quickly turn while cruising. So if you are a beginner, keep things simple by building a short board and not the longer one. At the front, draw a slight curve.
With a pencil, trace the board shape on the top wood piece and using adhesive, press the wood together. Let it dry and then carve the shape. Keep in check that you are drawing the deck the same way you want. Remove the imperfections from the board and make sure that half of the board is symmetrical.
Drill holes around the board outline to clamp the wood together. Drill the holes evenly around the board shape and keep them smaller than the screws. Check which points need extra support and add more holes there. All the pieces of plywood must be stacked properly and make sure to hold them tightly so that they don’t shift while drilling. Drill the holes through the wood and ensure that you don’t drill the area that will be your deck. One inch space must be there while drilling the outline of board.
Use a paintbrush and apply adhesive on the inner side of each wood piece. Get them back together making sure that drilled holes are on top.
Stack the plywood pieces and arrange them in a way that the ends of the board are resting on something. And the middle part is hanging free.
On the stack of wood, put weights so that it bends slightly upwards in the middle as when you will stand on it, it flattens out. Leave the board under the weight unless you don’t get a light curve on the wood.
Re-clamp the deck if you are happy with the curve you have got and then put screws around the board.
Take the good looking side of your plywood and make it the bottom of the board. Find the exact centre of the board and draw a line lengthwise down from front to back. Turn the board over and do the same thing for the other side as well. Here you go with the design of the board, take off your stencil now.
Take sandpaper and smoothen the board to keep it free from scratches. Now cover the board with fibreglass resin as it will protect the paint from outside scratches. Mix the fibreglass resin with a hardener and then use a paintbrush to brush the board evenly with its layer. It hardens very fast so be quick while applying. Let it sit for 3-4 hours.
Add any design you like using paint or markers and sand the board down one more time. Go for painting the board with any pattern or color you like to make it look beautiful. Next, add a last layer of fibreglass resin to seal the design finally on the bottom of the board. Do it clearly so that the designing you did is visible through the coating. Cover the whole board with grip tape as it will keep your feet stick on the board while riding at higher speeds.
Now it is the time to put the bearings inside each wheel and attach the wheels to the trucks. The nuts must be so tight that don’t let the bearings come out and offer free spinning of the wheels.
Here you go!! Your board is ready. Now check it once that it holds your weight properly. Before sliding on the hills, make sure that everything is perfectly done.
